My birthday was Thursday. As a consequence of a previous year where I forgot to celebrate my birthday, I’ve been throwing my own birthday parties. My mom would call this “vanity”, but my grandfather might call it “gumption”.
This year, the Sean Foote Band (samples here) got together and threw a benefit concert for the Redwood City School District. Because of the budget ridiculousness in California, the local schools are cutting virtually everything but the 3 R’s, including the music program.
So it was no surprise, I suppose, when I got this fantastic electronic birthday greeting card.
